Jeffrey Timmermans
Adviser
Jeffrey Timmermans holds the Donald W. Reynolds Chair in Business Journalism at Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, and is director of the Reynolds Center for Business Journalism. He worked more than a decade as a reporter and editor at The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires. He joined the Cronkite School in 2021 from The University of Hong Kong, where he served as an associate professor and director of the undergraduate journalism program. He has a B.A. from Colgate University, an M.S. from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and a Ph.D. from The University of Hong Kong.

Pacey Smith-Garcia
President
Pacey Smith-Garcia, Ute, has been CFAIR member for all 4 years he has been at ASU and is currently majoring in Journalism and Mass Communications. He currently hosts "News of the World". Along with this he works at ICT News where he work in an all indigenous newsroom to cover indigenous communities around the world. He holds a key interest in British news and has gotten on the ground training in Germany with the RIAS Berlin Commission where he met with politicians and journalists in the country.

Kevinjonah Paguio
Treasurer
Kevinjonah Paguio has been a CFAIR member for all four years of his undergraduate studies at Arizona State University. He is a journalism and mass communications major at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. He is also working on a minor in global studies. He co-hosts CFAIR's Blaze Radio show "News of the World." Furthermore, he is also a visual/photo reporter at Cronkite News-Phoenix. Being a Filipino, He is interested in stories based in Southeast Asia. He hopes to one day be a photojournalist working in East or Southeast Asia for the Associated Press, NBC or the United Nations.

Boi Ngoc Thai
Public Relations Director
Boi Ngoc Thai has been a CFAIR member since her second semester at Arizona State University. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, focusing on Public Relations. She is also working on a minor in Business at the W. P. Carey School. She appears as a guest at CFAIR's Blaze Radio show "News of the World." She strategizes communication and marketing strategies for CFAIR. She's interested in global affairs, especially stories from the Asia region. Originally from Vietnam, she lives in Arizona now and deeply appreciates the desert landscape and community she has found here. She aspires to be a global storyteller and strategic communicator after graduating.
